Zone Management Framework

WeBIMSync introduces the zone management to provide enhanced flexibility for project management. The manager can divide BIM project into multiple "zones" based on project requirements to optimizing the project and improving efficiency. This framework is specifically designed to address the diversity and complexity of architectural and engineering projects, ensuring that management solutions meet practical needs.

Project Model and Drawing Sharing

Project-level models and drawings enable full project-wide sharing capabilities. All zones have access to these shared resources, which are automatically updated with the latest versions uploaded by any zone, ensuring data consistency and timeliness.

Independence Between Zones

Each zone maintains independence in resource management and access control:

• Models and Drawings: Zones can upload their exclusive models and drawings, which remain isolated from the content of other zones.
• Roles and Permissions: Role and permission settings within each zone are restricted to that specific zone, preventing interference between zones and enabling precise management.

Zone Member Permissions Management

WeBIMSync offers a multi-tiered permissions management. In addition to project-level permissions, zone-level permissions must be separately allocated:

• Zone manager can assign specific roles and permissions to members within their respective zones according to project requirements.
• Only members with the appropriate permissions can perform relevant tasks within the zone, such as model editing, drawing management, or data review.

This flexible and layered permission management approach ensures project security and enhances operational efficiency.
