# Permissions Settings

Project-level permissions are differentiated based on roles. Please refer to Project Member Settings for instructions on assigning project roles.

# Permissions of Models

Based on the project needs, the project manager can create multiple hierarchical folders for BIM models management. As shown below:

  • In the Models, click on the [ ] button on the right side of a Root or Child Category, and then select [ Add Child Category ].

  • Each level of the categories can select 1 [ Set Permission ] to define the project members' access permissions. Please refer to the Access to the Models for more details. 2 Switch on [ Inherit permissions from parent ] to directly inherit the permissions of the parent layer, or switch it off to define the permissions individually.

  • The Root Category can switch on [ Inherit permissions from the project ] to directly inherit the permission from the project.

  • Click on another drop-down list to select a member's name or search via member name or email address.

  • After choosing the members, click on the [ View ] button.

  • This page will refresh and show "The content on BIM storage viewed as: Member's Name".

  • If the user wants to exit, click on [ Exit View As ]. The page will be refreshed again and return to the personal view.
