# Starting WeBIMSync

# Quickstart

  • 1 To start WeBIMSync, click on the [ Login ] button.

  • 2 Input the login form, then click on [ Login ].

  • Right-click on the project thumbnail to enter.

# User Interface

# 3 Model View

The main area is Model View, for users to browse and operate the model here. On the top-right corner is ViewCube. The user can click on the face or corner of ViewCube to adjust the viewpoint rapidly.

# 4 Features Bar

It provides features including tasks, quick positioning, model visibility, markups management, viewpoints switching, floor and room switching, clash management, etc.

# 5 Options

From left to right shows the logo for "Return to the Project", "Project Name", "Zone", "Version", and "Settings", "Log out".

  • Click on the zone name to switch the zone

  • Click on the model version to switch

# 6 Toolbar

It provides features such as model operation, measurement, sectioning, creating markups, and drawings browsing.

# Settings

1 FOV: For the FOV (Field of View) setting.

2 Speed Settings: To adjust the speed of movement in the model view.

3 Render Mode: The user can select "Full Render," "Shaded Render", "Wireframe Render", "Hidden Line Render" for the render mode of the model. For more details, please refer to Autodesk Knowledge Network (opens new window).

4 Lighting: The user can select "None", "SceneLights", "Headlights", "FullLights" for the model view lighting. For more details, please refer to Autodesk Knowledge Network (opens new window).

5 Grid Line: The user can adjust the elevation position of displayed grid lines. For more details, please refer to Autodesk Knowledge Network (opens new window).

6 Avatar Setting: The user can operate a virtual character in the model scene to check the spatial design. It provides "gravity", "conflict", "crouching" options for switching.

7 Option: The user can switch on "Full Screen", "Hide Room", "Cover Snap", "FOV Fixed", "Orthographic", "Grid Line", and etc.

8 Unit: For the unit settings.

9 Language: Supports Traditional Chinese, English, and Japanese.
